Programs

The training is offered in 4 main levels. Graduates from one level proceed to the next level of training. AddisBits have 4 trainers and one training coordinator for the training program. AddisBits follows a curriculum that will increasingly become informed from the current trends in the Ethiopian job market.

  1. Behind the screens

The first two weeks are devoted to learning basic computer skills using a challenging project to apply their new skills by setting up a music shop. This is also the opportunity for learners and trainers to determine who’s fully committed and capable of completing the program.

  2. Inside the web

Following "behind the screens" and with the final group of selected learners the next two weeks focuses entirely on building skills and techniques for maximizing the use of the internet. This is the first time our learners are introduced to the potential of the internet. And is typical of youthful learning they take full advance of this opportunity by researching every possible topic, for example: women's health issues, malaria concerns, tourism in Ethiopia among other interest.

  3. Web Designers

The next three months is devoted entirely to the fundamentals of web design with a special focus on artistic techniques & principles.

  4. Media lab

The last month is an intensive program designed to build essential business skills and the ability to integrating our learners new knowledge and skills with the culture of Addis Ababa's commercial climate
